Hometown: Norman, OK Education: University of Oklahoma Favorite TV show: Private Practice Favorite aspect of cheerleading: My favorite aspect of cheerleading is the game day atmosphere and the general excitement in the air that is creates. At any level cheerleaders have the best seat in the house. There is nothing like being right there on the field or on the court and being a part of the action and all those incredible moments that can happen at any sporting event. Advice: If we want our kids to get better then we as coaches/advisors must work to continually better ourselves. You can never know enough, so if we can become better educated in cheerleading by attending classes, seminars and becoming AACCA safety trained and certified that will reflect on our teams and their success as well. Keep in mind that we are shaping young lives every day and spend so much time influencing them that we must be good role models and ambassadors to our kids. Safety and good sportsmanship in our activity is of utmost importance and treat every child as if they were your own.
