Q- How do I register for a UCA School/Youth competition?

Q- Is there a registration deadline?

A. Registration for all competitions must be received no later than 14 business days prior to the competition. If registration is received after that time, a $10 per team late fee will be applied to your account.

Q- When and how do I pay for competition?

A- Payment for competition is due at least 3 weeks prior to the event. UCA accepts school checks, cashier checks, money orders, or school purchase orders made payable to UCA Championship Series. Credit card is also accepted. We do not accept personal checks. Full payment must be received in order for your team to be officially registered for a competition and compete.

Q- How do I know what time my team will be performing at competition?

A- Orders of competition can be found at uca.varsity.com after 5 pm on the Monday before a competition. The order will list rehearsal, performance, and award ceremony times. Please know that all times are tentative and subject to change due to additions and cancelations. Please check back for an updated order the Thursday prior to the competition.

Q- What divisions and categories are offered at your competitions?

A- School & Youth/Rec Divisions

Q- Who needs to fill out medical release forms and who does not?

A- All School and Youth/Rec participants are required to complete a medical release form. Medical release forms should be collected by the advisor/coach and given to the registration director the morning of the competition. Additional medical release forms can be found on the registration tracker.


Q-Does my squad have to qualify for the National High School Cheerleading Championship?

A-Yes, At regional competitions, teams may qualify for the NHSCC by winning their division or by receiving an At-Large Bid based on performance. Game Time divisions are not offered at the National High School Cheerleading Championship.
