Lance Haragan
Lance is one of UCA’s best instructors in the Southwest. He has been on staff for 14 years, making him one of the most qualified instructors in the area.
Lance says, “The most important thing for the cheerleaders to learn is service-based leadership. The best way to lead their school is to serve the teams they support well.”
Lance’s philosophy is in line with UCA’s. UCA believes the most important thing cheerleaders should learn at camp is leadership skills. It is essential for cheerleaders to know how to lead the crowd and for them to be a leader in school spirit. At UCA camp throughout the country, each squad is taught these skills in a way that when they go back to their own school, they will be able to use the skills they learned at camp.
Lance utilizes his great leadership skills by running leadership and residential camps throughout the summer. At his camps, he not only teaches the campers to be a better person, but also to be a better cheerleader.
When he isn’t teaching UCA camps he is the emcee at UCA competitions, teaching safety courses, stunt clinics, choreograph routines and recruit squads to camps and competitions.
You can see Lance at some of the Southwest camp this summer! To sign up for a camp this summer contact your State Director.
