Nicole Wiltsie
Nicole Wiltsie, former member of the Slippery Rock coed team and 6th year UCA Instructor, is excited for the summer to start so she can see all of the teams she helped out last summer. She said, “I want to see how they have improved over the year, and see how they are adapting to the new members of their squad.”
Nicole believes, “it is important for squads to go to camp because it starts the pace for the rest of the season. It is essential to take away as much as you can from the experience. It is the first place the squad gets to go through the good times and hard times and in turn, be a better squad for going through it.”
I know for me “cheerleading has given me the opportunities of a life time. It has helped to mold me into the person I am today. It has given me the ability to be a leader and a team player. It has also guided me into the teaching profession I have chosen. It has impacted my life greatly, but every season for our team, whether it was my first or fourth year, they all started at camp.”
