Christina Brown
Christina’s mom was a cheerleading coach, so she grew up with cheerleading all around her but never thought that some day she would be an instructor for UCA. Christina says, “If it hadn’t been for John White, I would have never been an instructor. He was the one who introduced me to the company and encouraged me to be an instructor. Thank you, John White!”
John couldn’t have picked a better person; she is a “ray of sunshine! She lights up a room where ever she is. Her hard work and dedication are unsurpassed, as is her ability to make people smile! She has endless energy and enthusiasm and can connect with staff and students of all ages. She’s a pure joy to work with and we are very lucky to have her as a part of the UCA West Coast Family!” says, Regional Manager, Lauri Harris.
Christina comes back every year because of the people she works with and the fact that she gets to be a role model for so many young girls. She also likes working with the coaches, helping them improve their coaching ability. Christina says, “I know that if I didn’t have the great coaches I did, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”
When Christina graduates from college “her ultimate dream job is to be a sideline girl for ESPN. And I know I can do this because Oprah said ‘you are what you are by what you believe’ and if I believe I can be a sideline girl, that’s what I am.” But for now she is keeping busy with college. She is attending Idaho State University and is a member of the track and field team, the assistant cheer coach and an officer of the Student Athlete Advisory Council.
Christina is one of the many great instructors you can find at our West coast summer camps, you can also see her on UCA's 2009 Summer Material DVD! To sign up for a west coast camp, contact your State Director.
